(The "Contest")
YOU MUST READ THE CONTEST RULES IN THEIR ENTIRETY BEFORE ENTERING THE CONTEST. DO NOT ENTER THE CONTEST UNLESS YOU AGREE TO THESE RULES. PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES, WHICH ARE FINAL ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE CONTEST. BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE DECISIONS OF THE CONTEST JUDGING AGENCY, WHICH ARE FINAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE CONTEST.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
This Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who are 13 years of age or older at the time of Contest entry. The Contest is sponsored in whole by Johnson & Johnson Inc. (the “Sponsor“).
Contest Period:
The Contest commences on or about 12:00:01 p.m. ET on August 18, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 12, 2008 (“The Contest Closing Date”).
How To Enter:
No Purchase Necessary. Starting August 18, 2008, visit www.flirtwithfame.ca, www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame and/or www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca and complete the on-line Contest registration form by entering in the appropriate fields: your name, phone number (including area code), province, date of birth, language and e-mail address and the answers to the five questions in the weekly Contest quiz, then submit your entry by clicking on the “Submit” button and you will automatically receive one (1) entry into that week’s Contest draw and one (1) entry into one (1) of the Grand Prize draws. If you enter at www.flirtwithfame.ca or www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame you will be entered into the Grand Prize draw for the MTV The Hills Grand Prize and if you enter at www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca you will be entered into the Grand Prize draw for the VRAK.TV Experience.
Contestants may enter at www.flirtwithfame.ca, www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame and www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca. The maximum number of entries that may be received per person and per e-mail address for each weekly Contest draw is two (2) (when Contestants enter at both websites in the same week they will receive one (1) entry per website). The maximum number of entries that may be received each week into each of the Grand Prize draws is one (1) per person and per e-mail address for each week that a Contest entry is submitted by the Contestant.
Each week, during the Contest Period, a new quiz will be available on www.flirtwithfame.ca, www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame and www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca. The contest will run for an eight (8) week period, and there will be eight (8) weekly Contest draws and eight (8) weekly Contest prizes available to be won.
“Refer a Friend” Bonus Entries
Each week during the Contest Period you will have the opportunity to receive Bonus entries by referring friends to the contest. To receive a “Refer a Friend” Bonus entry, enter the e-mail address of a friend in the appropriate field available on www.flirtwithfame.ca or www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca as part of the Contest entry process (as outlined above). By submitting a friend’s e-mail address, you will receive one (1) Bonus entry into that week’s Contest draw and one (1) Bonus entry into the Grand Prize draw that is associated with the website where the entry was submitted (by entering at www.flirtwithfame.ca you will receive a Bonus entry into the MTV The Hills Grand Prize and if entering at www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca you will receive a Bonus entry into the VRAK.TV experience). Contestants may refer friends at both www.flirtwithfame.ca and www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca. The maximum number of Bonus entries that may be received per person and per e-mail address for each weekly Contest draw is two (2) (when Contestants refer friends at both websites in the same week they will receive one (1) Bonus entry per website). The maximum number of Bonus entries that may be received each week into each of the Grand Prize draws is one (1) per person and per e-mail address for each week that a Contest entry is submitted and a friend(s) is referred by the Contestant.
All Contest entries (including “Refer a Friend” Bonus entries) must be received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on the following close dates, after which time the Weekly Contest will be closed to further entries.

The odds of being selected in the random draw for any given week will depend on the number of eligible entries actually received on or before that week’s Contest Closing date.
In the event of a dispute, entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Participants may not play with multiple e-mail addresses, nor use any device to play multiple times or as multiple Contestants. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. Potential winners may be requested to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected Contest entry.
The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any individual who is found to have tampered in any way with the operation of the Contest. All Contest entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, which assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries.
Contest Prizes:
Weekly Prizes:
There will be eight (8) weekly prizes available to be won, one (1) for each week of the Contest Period. Each weekly prize consists of $1,000 (CDN). The weekly prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque and in the following manner:
Each weekly draw will include all eligible Contest entries that were submitted and received during that week’s draw period (see dates above) at both www.flirtwithfame.ca and www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca. A random draw will be conducted each week in Mississauga, ON by the Independent Contest Judging Organization, on the following days:

The odds of winning a weekly prize are dependent on the total number of eligible Contest entries (including “Refer a Friend” Bonus entries) received during that week’s draw period at both www.flirtwithfame.ca and www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca.
Grand Prizes:
There will be two (2) Grand Prizes available to be won.
Grand Prize #1 – MTV The Hills Grand Prize
The Grand Prize consists of a weekend getaway for two (2). The weekend getaway includes travel and lodging for the winner and their best friend at the location of THE HILLS SEASON 4 FINALE AFTERSHOW as determined and decided by the Contest Sponsors to a maximum value of $12,000 CDN. A Canadian MTV crew will also travel to the destination and interview the Grand Prize winner and guests during their MTV The Hills Grand Prize. The interview will be filmed and aired on www.mtv.ca . The approximate retail value of the MTV The Hills Grand Prize is $8,000 (CDN) based on a Los Angeles destination. Actual retail value may vary depending on the destination city. The winner must be a Canadian resident and must have a valid passport to qualify for the prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to select the MTV The Hills Grand Prize location. All other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to: meals and beverages; airport taxes; telephone, fax or cable charges; personal services and expenses such as laundry, valet, room service; gratuities; insurance; medical travel documents; and other incidentals costs and any other costs not specifically stated herein as being included, are the responsibility of the winner and his/her guests. The Grand Prize may not be used towards any type of frequent flyer mileage, or other reward point accumulation program. The Sponsor makes no express or implied warranties or conditions of any kind with respect to safety, appearance or performance of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be sold, transferred, and it is not convertible to cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any or all components of the Grand Prize with another prize (or components) of equal or greater value in the event that all or any component of the Grand Prize is unavailable. Dates will be determined by the Sponsor and MTV Canada.
Grand Prize #2 – VRAK.TV Experience
The Grand Prize consists of a VRAK.TV experience for two (2). The experience includes one day at The A VOS MARQUES PARTY 2 movie set. The prize also includes two (2) nights accommodation in Montreal, transportation to Montreal should the winner not reside in Montreal, and ground transportation while in Montreal
Grand Prize Winner Selection:
Phase One
On October 22nd, 2008 at approximately 10:00 am (ET) in Mississauga, ON, two random draws will occur.
For the first draw (Grand Prize Draw #1), ten (10) contest entries will be randomly selected from among all eligible Grand Prize entries received by the Contest Closing Date at www.flirtwithfame.ca or www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame . These ten (10) selected contest entries will be potential winners of the MTV The Hills Grand Prize. The odds of being selected will be dependent on the total number of Grand Prize entries received by the Contest Closing Date at www.flirtwithfame.ca and www.mtv.ca/flirtwithfame .
For the second draw (Grand Prize Draw #2), ten (10) contest entries will be randomly selected from among all eligible Grand Prize entries received by the Contest Closing Date at www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca. These ten (10) selected contest entries will be potential winners of the VRAK.TV experience. The odds of being selected will be dependent on the total number of Grand Prize entries received by the Contest Closing Date at www.flirteraveclacelebrite.ca.
Phase Two
Each selected entrant from Grand Prize Draw #1 will be interviewed, by phone, by the Sponsor, and asked the question “Why do you and your best friend deserve your 15 minutes of fame?” The Sponsor will select one (1) entrant from those ten (10) selected Contestants to be the potential winner of the MTV The Hills Grand Prize, based on the answer that, in the Sponsor’s opinion, best fits with the CLEAN&CLEAR® brand personality. To be declared the official winner, the selected entrant must comply with the Selection criteria outlined below. The odds of being selected in Phase Two of the winner selection are 1:10
Each selected entrant from Grand Prize Draw #2 will be interviewed, by phone, by the Sponsor, and asked the question “Why do you and your best friend deserve your 15 minutes of fame?” The Sponsor will select one (1) entrant from those ten (10) selected Contestants to be the potential winner of the VRAK.TV experience Grand Prize, based on the answer that, in the Sponsor’s opinion, best fits with the CLEAN&CLEAR® brand personality. To be declared the official winner, the selected entrant must comply with the Selection criteria outlined below. The odds of being selected in Phase Two of the winner selection can be 1:10 or better depending on the number of eligible entrants.
Selection criteria:
The selected entrants (Grand Prizes and Weekly Prizes) will be contacted by e-mail or telephone (at the telephone number or e-mail address provided during the Contest Entry process) within 10 days of the draw date. The selected entrants will be required to answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill testing question to be administered by the Contest judging agency, confirm his/her eligibility, and sign and return a standard form of Declaration, Release and Waiver form. For the Grand Prize package, the selected entrant’s traveling companion will also be required to sign a Full Release and Indemnity Declaration and Release stating that he/she releases the Sponsor from any and all liability of any kind arising out of his/her participation in, and use of, the prize. If the selected entrant or the traveling companion of the Grand Prize Winner is under the age of majority, the release must be signed by his/her parent or legal guardian on his/her behalf. If the selected entrant does not meet all of the Contest conditions, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, refuses to sign and return the declaration and release form, or if contact cannot be made within the 10 day period, that selected entrant will be disqualified and the Contest judging agency shall be entitled to select a new name, by random draw, from among the remaining eligible Contest entries. This selection and notification process will occur until the Contest prize is awarded, or until there are no Contest entries remaining. The Sponsor, its subsidiaries, partners and affiliates, directors, officers, governors and agents, its advertising and promotional agencies and the independent judging agency are not responsible, whether as a result of human error or otherwise, for any failure to contact any potential winner, and will not be responsible for contacting or forwarding a prize to a selected entrant that provided incorrect or incomplete information. Once declared a winner, the selected entrant will be directed as to how to claim their prize, which will be delivered within a reasonable time.
Eligibility:
This Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada, who are 13 years of age or older. Employees (and those with whom they are domiciled) of the Sponsor, its respective parents, subsidiaries, partners and affiliates, directors, officers, governors and agents, its advertising and promotional agencies and the independent judging agency are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
General Rules:
This Contest is void in whole or in part where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. This Contest shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically referred to herein shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, MTV Canada, a division of CTV Television Inc., their respective subsidiaries, partners and affiliates, directors, officers, governors and agents, its advertising and promotional agencies and the independent judging agency (collectively, the “Released Parties”), against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of: (i) entrant's participation in the Contest, (ii) the receipt or use of the prize awarded therein, and (iii) the administration of the Contest and the distribution of the prize awarded therein. Entrants hereby release, waive and discharge any and all claims of damage, loss or causes of action (including negligence) including (but not limited to) death, personal injury or loss or damage to property which the entrant or any of the entrant’s representatives, heirs, next of kin or assignees (“Entrants Representatives”) may have or which may hereinafter accrue to the Entrant or Entrant’s Representatives against the Released Parties or as a result of the entrants participation in the Contest or use of the prize (s) awarded herein. Before being awarded a prize, the selected entrant (and his/her traveling companion, and/or parent/legal guardian, if applicable) must sign a standard form of Declaration, Release and Waiver form, releasing the Related Parties from any and all liability arising from, among other things: (i) participation in the Contest; (ii) acceptance of the prize awarded therein, and (iii) the administration of the Contest and the distribution of the prize awarded therein.
The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to, if viruses, bugs, tampering, or other causes beyond the Released Parties control affect the administration, security, fairness or proper execution of the Contest, and in Quebec with the consent of the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. If the identity of a selected on-line contest entrant is disputed, the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the Authorized Account Holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will be accepted.
Use of Contest Information:
By completing and submitting the Contest entry form, all entrants consent and acknowledge that the Sponsor reserves the right to collect and use any and all information related to the Contest, for purposes of running the Contest, and where expressly consented to for marketing purposes, unless prohibited by law. This may include the use of the selected entrant’s name, address, photograph, likeness, voice and place of residence, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news and information purposes without further compensation or notification. Entrants’ information shall not be provided to any third party unless the entrant grants consent. Limitations of Liability:
The Released Parties shall not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. The Released Parties will not be responsible for late, stolen, illegible, falsified, delayed, incomplete or destroyed entries and all such entries are void. The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, tampering, viruses, human errors (including gross negligence) delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of entries. The Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Contest. Nor is any responsibility assumed for any errors in the Contest Rules or Contest related information. Any attempts to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Released Parties reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law.
CTV Television Inc. (MTV Canada) and its parent, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees are in no manner acting as a Sponsor. By entering the contest entrants expressly understand, acknowledge and agree that such entities and persons will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this contest or any prize awarded.
